Cloud42 betreibt #Collabora für deine bestehende @nextcloud. Damit kannst du Nextcloud Office, das gemeinsame Bearbeiten von LibreOffice- und Microsoft-Dokumenten in deiner #Nextcloud, nachrüsten. Noch Beta. Betrieben von @markusr.
@hwd Nutze die iOS #Nextcloud App. Die Dokumente werden dann in #Collabora geöffnet, das ist einfach eine Web View von Collabora. Aber nutze das nur, um mal ein Dokument anzuzeigen. Auf iOS bearbeite ich keine Dokumente. Die Anzeige klappt so weit gut, wobei ein A4-Dokument auf einem kleinen Display eher unpraktisch ist.
@daschnott LibreOffice verweist in der Ankündigung sogar auf "commercial ecosystem around LibreOffice" und dort dann auf verschiedene Partner, unter anderem auch auf Collabora.

LibreOffice is a desktop application, but we get many requests for a web-based version of the suite that users can deploy on their own infrastructure. Several years ago, project members started to develop LibreOffice Online, but in 2022 the Board of Directors at The Document Foundation voted to freeze the project and put it in the “attic”, for reasons that have now been superseded. Earlier this month, the current Board of Directors decided to revoke those votes to give new life to the project, as Eliane Domingos, chairperson, put it: To start the process of freeing LibreOffice Online, and to start the journey that will lead to having an online version by the community and for the community. Now the work begins. We plan to reopen the repository for LibreOffice Online at The Document Foundation for contributions, but provide warnings about the state of the repository until TDF’s team agrees that it’s safe and usable – while at the same time encourage the community to join in with code, technologies and other contributions that can be used to move forward. We will actively work with the community to identify how to foster LibreOffice Online, including its technological basis, QA and
@pmj Ist für den Collabora-Server möglicherweise ein A- und AAAA-Record hinterlegt, jedoch nur einer erreichbar? Könnte mir vorstellen, dass Chrome dann einfach wechselt, das bei Firefox jedoch aus irgendeinem Grund nicht auf Anhieb funktioniert. Das ist aber natürlich nur eine Vermutung ins Blaue.
@sandfrog Soweit ich weiss, loggt das nextcloud.log die Aktivitäten von Files nur, falls das Loglevel erhöht wurde (finde das nextcloud.log-Format auch mühsam). Was ich jedoch meine, ist das Access-Log des Webservers. Unabhängig davon: Spannenderweise wurde in der Zwischenzeit bereits Nextcloud v32.0.5 released. Aber ich habe noch nicht geschaut, weshalb.
@sandfrog Siehst du DELETE Requests im Access-Log des Webservers? Falls ja, könntest du es so auf einen einzelnen WebDAV-Client zurückführen (die offiziellen Clients benutzen ebenfalls WebDAV). Weil es könnte ja sein, dass ein Client die Ursache ist (mit oder ohne Bug). @thomas Collabora baut auf #LibreOffice auf, was zumindest für mich ganz gut funktioniert. Collabora ist auch das, was #Nextcloud mittlerweile empfiehlt (früher war es OnlyOffice).

@ftranschel Ist Collabora Desktop von Seiten UX nicht 1:1 dasselbe wie Collabora im Browser? Sieht bei mir jedenfalls gleich aus. Aber zugegeben, lokal habe ich es noch kaum verwendet, da das gemeinsame Bearbeiten fehlt.
@ralfh @_DigitalWriter_ Das ist der Fall, falls du gewisse Standardeinstellungen deaktivierst. Beispiel: Falls du den Welcome-Screen deaktivierst, wird der Collabora-Server auf 20 Connections und 10 Dokumente limitiert. Früher galt das Limit generell, das wurde aber meines Wissens aufgehoben.
