Ich habe Euro-Office auf meiner Nextcloud installiert, den OnlyOffice-Fork aus dem europäischen Konsortium um Nextcloud und IONOS.

Spannend ist nicht die Oberfläche, sondern die Architektur. Warum mein Rückgängig endlich wieder meine eigenen Änderungen trifft, wo Collabora die Nase vorn behält und für wen sich der Wechsel lohnt.

Tried to install #collabora on #nextcloud server. Wanted to stay with this, not going with #euro-office . but after 2days with unfixable document open problems, I think its time to try the other one.

The collabora #docker setup with #apache based on the original docs first has ssl problems when trying to reverse proxy and wss:// even it should work based on the doc.

would have loved to be able to get it running.

Frage : hat im Kontext von Mitbestimmungsverfahren des Öffentlichen Dienstes (!) schon mal jemand(tm) Unterlagen gesehen/erstellt die für #Collabora Online diese Punkte adressieren:

a) Unterschiede zu klasssichem Microsoft Office. Also eine Konkordanz von Buttons, Menüpunkten, Funktionen.

b) Best practice für im Browser oft schwierigen Workflows wie drag&drop, Copy&Paste (etwa von Markdown das sofort in saubere Office-Strukturen überführt wird etc.)?

I haven't looked at it yet and wonder how it holds up against #libreoffice + #collabora and the likes.

The fact that it has some large funders behind can be both a #curse and/or a #blessing (for #foss an #opensource in general)!

At any rate I will give #eurooffice a spin at some point!
