It is an easy way to see where lights are already mapped, and what still needs to be covered. I do believe MapComplete has one as well.

There is a joke in Germany that was told between the world wars,

Daughter: "I have a new boyfriend"
Mother: "Wonderful, what's his name?"
Daughter: "Friedrich"
Mother: "Oh that's great .... but did he have to be a Jew?"

Friedrich is a very German name. A great deal of Jews tried to flee the reprecussions of the Holocaust by integrating moreso than Germans, and taking very German names. They tried to Germanify themselves even to the point of many of them becoming Jew Hunters themselves. It did not save them.

There are examples of several Native American tribes Americanifying themselves. "White-ifying" themselves. Those tribes are now extinct because American Racism DOES NOT CARE about you white-ifying yourself. It cares about the color of your skin.

LGBT people in America like to say they won their rights by assimilation. They did not. You don't win your rights by asssimilation or being spineless. They got their rights by trans women of color throwing bricks at cops. Thus the calling card of queers "Stonewall was a riot/be gay do crimes" they just weren't rooted out and destroyed by AIDS, or by their own community so they got to live and declare themselves the victors when their lazy, gentrified bull shit will lead to the repealing of Obergefell v Hayes. They accomplished nothing except for gloating in their rights while the people that won them were summarily executed.

You cannot save yourself by siding with your opressors. You cannot save yourself from fascism by siding with the fascists. You also cannot save your community by holding a pure standard of what it is to be pure and doxxing your community for not holding your exact innane beliefs that nobody in the real world gives a shit about.

There's no difference between your dog whistles and your white nationalism than people that wear swastikas or white hoods. White nationalism is white nationalism. It doesn't matter if it's burning crosses or hiding it in Leftist Therapy speak.

Holding your community to purity you would never hold a cis heterosexual to will not save you. People like Caitlyn Jenner and Blaire White siding directly and overtly with fascists won't help us either. We have a name for people like this and it comes from the last name of Jewish Jew Hunters. "Quislings".

The only way we win is by standing together. Not standing with the fascists. Not tearing eachother apart. TO-GE-THER. I don't know why this is such a hard concept.
