A lot of very faint clouds of dust and gas are visible around the north celestial pole. Among them, at the border between constellations Draco and Ursa Major (and close to the famous galaxies M81 and M82), is the Mandel-Wilson 2 nebula (aka "Angel Nebula"). This vast cloud of gas and dust is known to be faintly illuminated by the glow of the Milky Way (Integrated Flux Nebula). An impressive number of galaxies are visible in this field of view : more than 200 ! 20h cumulated exposure time, from my backyard, close to Montpellier (south of France).
