@okay I hope you found it
For some reason I love these generic chinatown “Bus Stop” signs. No mention of the company name, just the address and sometimes the route, like NY↔️FL. #typodon #typodonSigns

Here’s another kind of tiny sign shop in the neighborhood that mostly just sells OPEN signs. Not so impressive individually, but there’s something nice about seeing them all together #typodon #typodonSigns

Here’s a little sign shop in my neighborhood with some large channel letters filled with lightbulbs, back in the “WORK AREA” #typodon #typodonSigns

I like the logo on the storefront for this place that sells cell phone cases. It looks like they made the letters ABA out of decals for /one and /zero (or /O /o) #typodon #typodonsigns

@kupfers yeah, good point. I would still kern punctuation like /hyphen /parenright /colon etc. But wondering if I can skip alphabetic kerns?

Indeed M isn't hart to space/kern. I'm just thinking about aiming for a light touch with kerning overall to A) avoid bloat in file size (#variableFonts) and B) save time/effort by trimming down kerning lists and proofs where possible. When kerning Optical Sizes, Weights, Widths, new var font axes… this stuff all adds up, so I'm rethinking some things🤔

Kerning question: does anyone know of a reasonable scenario when /trademark would be anywhere but at the end of a word? I've kerned the right side of /trademark before but now I'm questioning if this is really necessary. Can this be skipped, or is there something I'm forgetting about? #typodon
@arialcrime @kupfers Yum! It's this place in Neukölln, right? Al-Andalos:
Sonnenallee 40, 12045 Berlin, Germany https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g187323-d10686546-Reviews-Al_Andalos-Berlin.html I'm adding this to my list of places to eat in Berlin 😋
