@mia I got a bit carried away with scroll driven animations when they started gaining popularity. https://jamesbasoo.com/blog/scroll-driven-pixel-art-sprite/
Control Pixel Art Sprites With CSS Scroll-Driven Animations

These fancy, new CSS scroll-driven animations are proving to be pretty darn powerful. I found Bramus' concept of using them to detect scroll direction intriguing, and after experimenting found that detecting multiple axes allows you to directionally control an image sprite!

But most of all, everyone benefits from learning about vaginas, vulvas and the gynaecological anatomy. Whether you've got all or some of the bits yourself. We cover the topics which don't necessarily get taught elsewhere. And *everyone* benefits from having this information.

I’ve said before that Dutch trains are beautiful, but how about Dutch trains in a large field of blooming hyacinths?

@larslaade Ah that seems like a drawer to me (cool codepen btw!), I've personally implemented it using the HTML dialog according to W3C's Modal Dialog example (https://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/apg/patterns/dialog-modal/examples/dialog/). Given that visually the background is greyed out, I reasoned this is interpreted as a change of context (otherwise you'd have something like a tooltip, which doesn't) hence the dialog.

Edit: Just looked at the codepen's HTML, it's using the HTML dialog element as well, figures!

@larslaade Dialogs are entirely different. For dialogs, it's important to hide the rest of the page's context as the dialog requests an action to be completed (almost acting as a separate page). I'd recommend using the native dialog element for that, it handles focus automatically https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/Elements/dialog
<dialog>: The Dialog element - HTML | MDN

The <dialog> HTML element represents a modal or non-modal dialog box or other interactive component, such as a dismissible alert, inspector, or subwindow.

@larslaade I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to achieve as you're building an off-screen menu with dialog, which are two separate things. For menu's, I can recommend https://www.w3.org/WAI/ARIA/apg/patterns/menubar/, where it's important that the menu is not placed within dialog. This way, users can exit the menu using keyboard navigation.

@[email protected] I like creating small detailed spaces (think a crafting workshop is my favourite) or limiting myself to a single chunk. Or hide away into a mountain to hide my crimes.
was not able to find a person to credit for this, but price per pound of cars vs cheese everybody
