I'm back from A Coruña, where I attended Igalia's #WebEnginesHackfest for the first time. It was an awesome opportunity to connect with W3C staff, WG and TC participants, browser vendors, and fellow software developers. I was particularly interested in the discussions around #WebAI, Signals, XR, and privacy. I was also able to land some pull requests to browser engines and web specs, making it an actual hackfest.
It's a wrap. I'm back home from Google I/O and a surprise visit to the GDE Americas Summit 2025. I enjoyed many interesting GDE-led sessions and product group interactions. It was a joy to reconnect with the Angular team and meet many new fellow GDEs, whom I usually don't interact with due to the regional split. Huan Li's karaoke BBQ backyard party rounded off the experience. #GDEsummit
Our TypeScript definitions for the Built-in AI APIs (Prompt API, Writing Assistance APIs, Translator and Language Detection APIs) are now up-to-date with the current version. Happy coding: https://www.npmjs.com/package/@types/dom-chromium-ai #WebAI #BuiltInAI

Had an amazing time at Google I/O 2025 at Shoreline where Google unveiled its latest innovations, including major updates in AI. I was happy to see the Built-in AI APIs we're discussing in the WebML CG on the big stage. Left feeling super inspired by all the sessions. #GoogleIO
It's been three months since I became one of the first-ever W3C TAG Associates! 🌟 I'm grateful for the opportunity to help shape impactful web standards and work with our great community. I'm still learning, but I'm proud to have supported the W3C TAG in conducting several design reviews already. Learn more about the role: https://w3ctag.org/associates/ #webstandards #W3CTAG

I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Developer Week about how the web can evolve into a GenAI platform. We discussed running AI models directly on user devices, which is great for offline scenarios and privacy. For more insights, join my talk at DWX on July 1, 2025, at m:con Rosengarten in Mannheim. Check out the interview here: https://www.dotnetpro.de/dwx-hakt-laesst-web-genai-plattform-2958508.html (German content) #dwx #genai #web

Just got back from this year's MVP Summit, and it was great! The annual meetup for Microsoft MVPs was a perfect chance to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and talk about the latest in tech. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to next time! #mvpbuzz @mvpaward
I was thrilled to participate in the first NG Venice two weeks ago. This visit marked my return to Venice after 25 years, and it was an incredible experience. A heartfelt thank you to Daniele Morosinotto for organizing such a unique and outstanding event and arranging a memorable guided tour for us speakers, all leading European experts for #Angular development. Special thanks also to Luca Del Puppo for his excellent work as MC. #ngvenice
Excited to share the slides of my “AI in the Browser: Smarter Angular Apps with WebGPU and WebNN” from #NGVenice! 🚀 Learn how to integrate Generative AI with #Angular using #WebGPU and #WebNN for offline, secure execution: https://www.thinktecture.com/en/contributions/ai-in-the-browser-smarter-angular-apps-with-webgpu-and-webnn/ 🌐✨ #BuiltInAI
