@tvaziri Also set the Library of Congress up to preserve/digitize/publish works that fall out of compliance. National Film and Television Council or something. Obviously it gets tricky because there’s so much.

@tvaziri I keep rolling stuff like this around in my head but I wish someone w/knowledge of govt and industry and influence in both would start this conversation in earnest. I was thinking something like they lose rights to a work if they don’t publish within X number of years.
