I used to work at Wirecutter and other AV places, and even before that I wrote software, now I work at Apple doing cool things. Dad, runner, reasonable Magic: The Gathering player.

Homicide was a fantastic TV show, and one that I'd even stay in on Friday nights in High School and College to watch (along with X-Files). Magic Arena Opens are so damn good. You get to play high-stakes Magic at home, and sometimes you get paired against the reigning World Champ and manage to beat them to make Day 2 and feel great.
While other states are rushing to pass stupid anti-drag laws, when the long time drag queen of Portland, Darcelle XV, passed away this year there was a full on celebration of them at the main theater venue in town. Nearly 3,000 people, current and former governors, and more. Just good to see how many people were positively impacted by someone that others are trying to ban.
Accomplished my weekend plans, mainly catching up on Succession. But lots of other actually productive things as well.
I know some people told me I should go, so the whole family went, and the Computer History Museum was fantastic.
Watching Twitter just to see how much abuse people will take without quitting.
