Amateur photographer living near Duras in SW France, enjoying French life, wine and food.

I predominately photograph landscapes and structures around my local area, and occasionally further afield.

In addition to standard photography, I like long exposure and HDR photography, but don't combine images that were not taken as part of a bracketed exposure sequence.

My other passion is model railways in N Gauge

@FourT4 😂😂😂
@FourT4 Apparantly, it is also available on DVD with english subtitles. Thanks for the heads up.
@Erased_Citizen Amazing detail for a cab interior.

A BR Class 24 dliesel collects a short rake of salt wagons.

Loco is Graham Farish which is a beautifully smooth running model. The salt wagons are a mixture of Peco and Graham Farish.

@cohanf A lot depends on the vine density. In some areas such as St Emillion and Monbazillac, they use tiny tractors and the vines are very close together, so practically impossible to raise a crop between the vines. In other areas where they use larger tractors, the vines are further apart, so there is the possibility. It really depends if it's cost effective, as you would not be able to use a normal combined harvester, but would need special equipment to harvest, for example.
@cohanf They would be less excited seeing them in winter without their leaves, as it provides a fairly stark image. I have seen some vineyards planting a second crop between the vines. Broad beans were one, as it is low growing, so they can drive over it without damaging it to trim the vines whilst it is growing.
@Erased_Citizen About a month ago, I had never seen one before. Then I saw an advert and within the space of 24 hours I saw three of them. The range, based on the battery size, is not bad but not quite as efficient as a Kona, which is a slightly bigger car.
@alxmb What lens did you use for these?
