Just a reminder that the volunteer form for #chiplay2026 Associate Chair is closing tomorrow! Please consider filling out the form if you're interested in being an AC!
โจ Want to get involved with #chiplay2026?
We are inviting applications for Associate Chair (AC) volunteers to support the review process.
๐ Apply here until 22nd January, 2026: https://forms.gle/D3axemPJFE5BL5Mk9

Please fill out this form by January 22nd, 2026 if you are interested in serving as an Associate Chair for the CHI PLAY 2026 conference program committee - the ACM SIGCHI-sponsored conference on Player-Computer Interaction with papers published in the journal PACMHCI Games Track. ACs are members of the CHI PLAY community that have a PhD and have previous experience reviewing and/or publishing at the CHI PLAY conference. Please note that generally, as an AC, you are expected to find two external reviewers for each paper that you are assigned as a primary AC (1AC) and ensure that they will submit their review on time. You will also be required to write a meta-review for each of your 1AC papers. As a secondary AC (2AC) you will be expected to submit a full detailed review yourself. In total, serving on the CHI PLAY PC will involve finding around 10-14 reviewers, writing 5-7 meta-reviews as 1AC, and writing 5-7 2AC reviews. ACs will also need to manage the second round of reviews if their assigned paper(s) are invited for Revise & Resubmit for full papers track. We expect ACs to attend an online Calibration and Training meeting (tentatively 24 & 25 Feb), as well as attend synchronous discussions in Round 1 (tentatively scheduled April 8 & 9), and if necessary after Round 2 reviews. If you have any questions, please reach out to the paper chairs ([email protected]).
