CHI PLAY offers the chance to connect with colleagues on a wide range of playful topics. Work In Progress (WIP) contributions provide a unique opportunity for authors to present reports on original yet incomplete work that seeks to advance our current knowledge in games and play through innovative or thought-provoking ideas. Great work everyone who presented this week!

If you're going to be attending CHI PLAY 2025 - either in person or online - then we would love to recruit you to be a session chair (SC)! You can volunteer as a session chair in one (or multiple) role(s): As paper session chair, you will introduce the speakers and host a Q&A panel at the end of the sessions. For each session, we also need a second "voice of Discord" session chair who will moderate related session discussion online and present the questions from online attendees to the authors. (Both are in person.) As online commentary session chair, you will (co-)host an online discussion about the prior sessions with online attendees (and hopefully a few of the online/remote presenting authors) during one of the conference coffee breaks. As work-in-progress (WIP) session chair, you will facilitate discussion for WIP posters with a specific thematic focus. This can be either in-person or online, depending on the theme. For each of these roles, we will send you detailed instructions on what is expected. You are of course more than welcome to volunteer for multiple session chair roles. Let us know your availability and session interests below!
