Personally, I would recommend that nobody from other countries take the risk of entering the U.S. for the 2028 Olympics here in Los Angeles. You could end up shackled in a federal Trump dungeon, no matter how well you thought that your papers were in order.

"Journalists showed up at the Voice of America today to broadcast their programs only to be told they had been locked out: Federal officials had embarked on indefinite mass suspensions.

All full-time staffers at the Voice of America and the Office for Cuba Broadcasting, which runs Radio and Television Martí, were affected — more than 1,000 employees. The move followed a late Friday night edict from President Trump that its parent agency, called the U.S. Agency for Global Media, must eliminate all activities that are not required by law."

it's time to include RSS in the list of technologies the open social web is built on. to the extent that there's interop betw the two competing uber-protocols, it's coming from feeds. and it will be more so in the future.

it's time to work together and stop trying to ignore that RSS is there and is doing it's part to build this.

otherwise i will just wait. :-)
