Of course, AI will never be sentinel but it does in fact check most boxes of "intelligence"
I think his statement is aiming at people who think AI has a brain and can solve, perceive problems like natural intelligence
A lot of scientists, professionals...also downplay AI like Stallman and he is not wrong technically about AI doesn't know how anything and understand anything part.
