There’s also the issue of being marginalized with a decent following on particular platforms and that following be important for our work/jobs etc... how do we just simply switch and rebuild?
It’s taken me years of hard work, so starting from scratch is a much more complex issue when you’re marginalized (especially if you’re disabled and have very limited energy).
Not trying to whine, just curious if there’s any thoughts?
See the difficulty in trying to move social media platforms is remembering this one is even here and having the luxury of energy to keep up with several platforms at once (as inevitably the majority of people don’t move).
I love the idea of an alternative twitter but I just don’t know I have the energy to rebuild? /fatigue problems
