Debian 13 + XFCE does indeed fit on the 16GB 2422 M.2 drive with a bit of room to spare. Chromebox CN60.
I repurposed a ChromeBox CN60 for
#ubuntuserver and Pihole. Flashing the box with Coreboot was an experience.
Spotted at Ben Thanh restaurant in Kitchener.
#Linux on their point of sale systems. Food is pretty awesome too!
Ran into an interesting issue with this Yoga S1. It wouldn't recognize the Linux Mint XFCE 22.2 USB key in the left port (but USB keyboard and mouse okay), but did recognize the key in the right side USB port
Fedora KDE looked great on this ancient Core 2 Duo-based iMac... Until I added the Broadcom proprietary wifi driver... We normally install Linux Mint XFCE, so it ended up getting LM XFCE and the driver didn't have any issues. Still... Fedora KDE is looking pretty good.
Krita runs okay on this upgraded (16GB DDR3, 250GB SSD) Lenovo X220 tablet/laptop, however brushes are hard to switch because of the small screen real estate. Thinking this is better for something like Aseprite (via Steam) pixel art creation. Charging it up over the weekend, fingers crossed the battery is still okay.
#refurbished #linux #linuxmintQuite a bit later, around 2008... This was a Myth TV setup I had. Instead of a television we used a giant Lacie CRT monitor. The PC was nothing to write home about, an Athlon64 that could barely do the job with a Hauppauge 150 PCI tv tuner. The system below was MythDora, a Fedora spin that made setting up Myth TV easy!
