P’tit Belliveau. He sings genre-mixing (rock, folk, bluegrass, country, hip hop, etc) songs in Acadian French. Often funny, he’s proudly working class/red neck with none of the rancor common in the states. I found his videos charming but was then surprised by how great the live show was. (Acadian French is awesome on its own)

@bsletten Thans! I bet I can find it there, but I like to keep a wall btwn work and non-work. The presentation works on many levels and for many audiences

Seeing Fishbone is an advantage of being an old. But then, I saw a top 10 lifetime show just this summer. People still making great music

@bsletten Hi! You gave an excellent presentation on genAI for my company (a large scholarly pub) and I was wondering if it’s available anywhere.

I think my daughter, a phd student in math (combinatorics), would dig it

Thanks!

(OT: Fishbone are great! Been with them since their first EP. Saw them mid late ‘80s. Super energy! Flying horns!)

Why? Lack of competence or does avoiding a more thorough examination of the coup attempt serve the interests of committee members like Cheney?
