Hey – there's an error widely made after Brexit that I see a lot of Americans starting to make.

Some bad economic stuff is starting to happen to people who voted the wrong way.

The deep temptation is to say "we told you so, you dumb fucks, I have zero sympathy".

OK, yeah, some of these people are racists. No sympathy.

But!

Millions of them are (let's be frank) low-education, low-information voters who thought they were voting for cheaper groceries.

You will need them. Don't push them away.
