I'm a mum of 5, and have 2 grandchildren. 2 staffie crosses called Lola and Mia. I live in Ashford Middlesex near to Heathrow with my husband and 4 of the kids. I've been a SAHM for 21 years and an Avon rep for 5.5 years. Former Labour member and corbynite. Hate the tories with a passion. I've had an allotment since June 21 and took on a second plot Nov 21 and just starting to find my feet with things, haha. #EnoughIsEnough #socialist
Visited the #allotment today and did a few jobs around our 2 plots. Cut down the #dahlias on our flowerbed on our second plot we were offered last November. The flowerbed was just four foot nettles this time last year and they're still popping up here and there, but I pop them in a dustbin that's slowly filling with rain water for a lovely feed next year. We pulled the comfrey leaves up from the bed we have at the front of the original plot we took on last June and added them to the mix.
Meet Mia and Lola. The brown one is Mia, nearly 5 and a staffie ridgeback mastiff cross and a cuddle bum. The smaller one is Lola, 10 and staffie jack cross and my shadow. Lola we adopted from a rescue when she was 2 and she didn't have a good start to life. Mia we had from a friend at 11 months as I think she got too big for their little flat. Lola is most definitely the boss in their relationship lol.
Well I'm seeing peeps from twitterland that I follow are slowly coming over including the lovely person @stephenfry. Makes me feel more at home here, especially when I see others that detest the tories. Anyone else I should follow? I was a labour member, but would have to hold my nose to vote for them with keir in charge 🤦🏼♀️
Photo of my greenhouse with my Xmas lights up, which will probably be a permanent fixture. Just have to make a trip at night to see them lit up 😂
