iNaturalist receives $10 million grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation

Expanding our capacity to address the biodiversity crisis in a new phase of growth and impact to 2030 We’re excited to announce a generous $10 million grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. On the heels of our spin-off as an independent nonprofit in July, this grant will enable iNaturalist to embark on a new phase of growth and impact through 2030. Donations Matched 2x or 3x As part of the grant, we’re eager to share that donations through December 31, 2023 will be doubled and recurring donations will be tripled. This turns a $10 one-time donation into $20 and $10 per month into $30 per month.
