@louie What a great deal! Just ordered three prints and two box sets.

‼️ Boosts greatly appreciated! Due to “because I felt like it” (I just want everyone to play), @junior playing card decks are now only $5 each. Also, box sets are now only $12. Two decks (reminder: $5 each) in a nice, lightweight, portable wood box, for only $2 more. And that’s not all! The poker dice box is also only $12! I really encourage you giving poker dice a try.

Please enjoy games with your friends and family.

@manton The provided contract language only says that the DoW can’t cross those red lines “where law, regulation, or Department policy” says that they can’t.

That sounds a lot to me like using more words to repeat “for all lawful purposes,” which sounds a lot like “You’re not allowed to do things if you agree that you’re already not allowed to do them,” which is basically no restriction at all.

Wish I knew more about the reason for this post from Eugen Rochko, although we can guess:

"I will be opting my account out of the #Bluesky bridge next week. If you follow me from Bluesky (I think there are about 3.9K of you) and want to continue seeing my posts you will need to get an account on the fediverse. Cheers."

Last year there were periods of time when I stopped sending my blog posts to the fediverse. So that’s similar, right? Maybe. Bridgy Fed is an unusual case because of how dramatic the opt-in / opt-out story unfolded.

“oh, don’t forget to highlight, in bright red, the two-letter word in the tagline! the two letter word that’s kind of the whole point of this clever ad campaign! the two letter word that links this show to the horror movie of the same name!”

“no problem boss. i’m on it”

Alex Gibney has a new series called "Shifty: Living in Britain at the End of the Twentieth Century."

Can you imagine what Alex Gibney could do with all that BBC archive footage from the 60s through the Thatcher era?

Because you should imagine that.

@lexfri This is great! I think there’s a typo in Cryptogram #3 of the Secondary Pack (unless it’s a joke I’m not getting).
