It's a great tool for knocking out quick concept stuff or whatever, to find something that you'd want to hand over to an artist as a guide for what you're looking for, but I quite dislike the people who are claiming their AI prompts are "artistic creations", and especially those that are selling the works. Especially when the source images can be easily determined.

It's not about attention. It's about their bottom line. More followers means more commissions, more customers in their online shops, more direct exposure to people with hiring power. It's honestly really cruel to keep acting like they want adulation when really they just want to pay rent.
They have ample reason to mourn what they built.
