I see lots of Twitter commentary on how NYT etc continues to do this BS nazi friendly coverage, but not much paying attention to how this is playing out in these local affiliates. Itāsā¦ not great.

The minimum wage could have grown slowly with inflation. Instead it stagnated for 13 years. We could have decarbonized gradually, but the GOP blocked that for decades.
The changes we're fighting for now only seem radical because incremental change was blocked at every turn.
