@severinggecko I played the demo and looks cool, very different than other Tales games. But Scarlet Nexus also looks fantastic, with its cyberpunk themes and psychic power battle system. I’ll probably finish both of them, but don’t exactly know which one start first.
@COMPU73E Yup, I saw that when I jumped from Tweetbot to regular Twitter app. Years without ads made a difference and when I had to use official app, I was tired after one day. Same with Facebook, I can’t even remember any post I saw there in recent days as 99% are ads and some bull**it recommendations I couldn’t care less about. Trying to get used to Fedi now, we’ll see how it’ll work. But regular social apps are just trash now.
I was thinking about new action jRPG to play after #FinalFantasyXVI. I checked my backlog and I have Tales of Arise and Scarlet Nexus. I’m not a huge fan of Tales of… series but I heard this one is different. About SN, the only thing I know is that I payed 5$ for it :P. Which one should I try first?
@StryderNotavi @jbell @joshmillard I guess people will only go after other people they follow. Celebs, journalists, gamers etc. Mastodon is fine if you’re looking for community of people with similar interests, but if you want something like news feed with things from people you follow, then you probably won’t find it here. Most accounts that were created here few months ago are dead so people are going back to Twitter and now Threads.
I’m a cranky old-web person but I’m just genuinely fucking mystified that the reaction to either Jack’s or Zuck’s new corporate social media landgrab isn’t a loud unanimous laughing “no, get fucked”. Twitter and Facebook were a warning, not an instruction manual.
