Some nice news. The Eldest just got their final mark from university and they got a first class degree.

This actually hit me and Mrs B more than I was expecting. Naturally we're proud and delighted for them, but having to help a (largely undiagnosed) Autistic person through the British state education system has been a battle to say the very least.

For them to be able to get the highest possible grade at postgraduate level after everything they have been through over the last 16 years is incredible.

The sensation we as parents have right now is almost like finally letting a trauma go. So much heartache now behind us. What at times, during darker days, seemed impossible, today is a reality.

The battery on my new Lenovo M11 tablet was draining fast and it didn't make any sense because the tablet and battery is brand new. It's supposed to last all day. Turns out it was the Facebook app running in the background nonstop spying on everything I'm doing on the tablet and using all the battery power. Deleted the app. Problem is fixed.

It's hard to pin down cause and effect isn't it? I've had COVID (in 2021) but not too badly and I don't think it left any permanent damage. In 2022 I was diagnosed with two different cancers which were treated in June 22 and Feb 23. I also have a couple of other health issues. I've no idea which is to blame but I regularly feel completely washed out. Exercise doesn't work. Admitting defeat and having a sofa day usually means I'll be OK the next day.
We would like an answer.

OK, feel free to mute this if it's not your thing - I don't want to bombard passers-by!

Since the COVID thing, I've had huge issues with lethargy. One school of advice from friends is 'get out and move about more during daylight', and another from the people with CFS is generally, 'exercise will tend to make this worse'.

I'm guessing I'm just going to have to 'suck it and see', yes?

If the weather calms the fuck down tomorrow, I may try a short walk round the Harbourside, and see how I get on. I suppose if that goes well or horribly wrong, I'll have an answer!

@bytebro @TheBreadmonkey thank you, it was lovely!
@bytebro “interesting” times ahead for sure @bruce

@jonny@neuromatch.social lmao. Is "DO NOT USE OR INSTALL THIS PACKAGE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES" the license?

@jonny I love this as a poem <3

@jonny sound like a sophisticatedly refined derivative of the STFU-DontSueMe license 🖖 🤓 🍻

@jonny

No code written for, by, or with the assistance of AI should ever be executed. Only the authors of it should be.

Haha thank you

At first I was disappointed the license wasn't for "hello world", but this is even better!

@jonny Glad to see Abdul Al-Hazred is still pushing new works.

Reading the license is executing the code

@jonny This feels like a leap in some direction.
@jonny This would be perfect for AI code, don't you think?
@jonny "OR ITS GODS" HAHA
@jonny This is why we don't let philosophers write legal documents. LOL
@jonny Damn, that’s one psychedelic license, bruh!
@jonny @nixCraft GNU Public 0000 License. Or maybe 0400?
@jonny @dusk the phrasing of your unlicense makes me expect the execution of the code to open a portal to the Dungeon Dimensions.
@jonny Rofl, now I'm wondering: is this legally binding?
@jonny
Funny but irrelevant. A software license is a legal agreement based on the copyright, which is the right to make copies so AFAICS it usually doesn't cover the act of running it, whatever the means of "running"
