Weird, auDHD, plural, disabled, socially anxious computer geek. Writer of cute and sometimes kinky stories. Also sometimes a programmer/game dev. Usually somewhere on the spectrum of smolness (though Tegan's often in big mode, Em in middle-ish mode), though not always feeling fuzzy. Always happy to make friends!

Expect us to refer to ourselves with "we" or "I" depending on the post, though we'll often sign posts to show who's doing the talking.

Also expect general enthusiasm and authenticity. Feel free to ask questions in case of a miscommunication; these things happen, especially with us non-neurotypical folk!

i am tired of the "feminist" discourse esp in transfem spaces that goes like:

"I really like being weird and cool and being like this"

"no those things you like about yourself are symptoms of the patriarchy. we need to get rid of sexuality and weirdness that is too weird because it is just you being oppressed (ignore the fact that we're using the same rhetoric and reasoning as TERFs and conservatives)"

no. weird identity rebels and people who wholeheartedly and unashamedly own their kinks and sexuality are the best kind of trans people actually. this is how we refuse to allow patriarchal systems to own us. kill the cop in your head.

@Rusty I still don't get how people don't get that this is literally the modern gestapo. like the rhetoric is *identical*. the purpose is *identical*. the camps are *identical* and used for the same purpose as the Nazis' original concentration camps.

@Kaishen This is such a confusing read. Most of it is like...yeah, the internet is getting more and more censored and less and less safe for marginalized people, and it is factually being controlled more and more by corporations and governments who are trying to choke us weirdos out. But then some of the phrasing makes it seem more like he's doing the right wing "moral degradation" thing where they conflate trans people with some moral and "biological" downfall. Yikes. And the "destruction of tradition" thing really only makes that seem even worse.

@daycarepup I still don't get why 4lung is a controversial figure; it really seems like more "evil transfem" discourse. I can't find any remnants online of anything more than vague "I think I remember someone said she did this". Based on the company she keeps, though, she seems pretty cool.

@peekabab_taco you can on the Moshidon app on Android! Add a new timeline -> Local, then type the name of the instance you want

Mastodon itself doesn't have that feature baked in, though. It's why a lot of fedi instances use Akkoma instead; you can set up a "bubble" of related instances for all the users.

sometimes I wanna smack ABDLs and babyfurs with a big book labeled "feminism 101"

gonna make some of y'all read Whipping Girl someday (though upon a reread maybe it's a bit outdated and privileged to serve as a good intro without disclaimers)

honestly that goes double for various racial liberation texts. even just like reading some of MLK's writing would go a long way

not actually upset at anyone specific (and I'm a lot more patient one on one), just at the general tendency in these spaces for people to not understand very basic stuff like racism, misogyny, transphobia, etc

@EeveeEuphoria I swear like every art program has issues with fonts. Krita still has the issue of regularly breaking its own font selector and forcing you to type it in manually in the CSS view
