@vito Said the guy who hadn't held anything that would resemble a real job since the late 70's.

Lets stop listening to rich CEO's regarding how to live a good life.

'Termination' for referring to a layoff or an employee moving on might be a little too harsh of a term. I'm moving to a new role so off-boarding processes have started and this morning I get an email -

- Business Process: Terminate: <username> -

Do I need to be worried about a T-800 tracking me down?

@catbailey Is it worth it for this one position? There are a lot of hiring managers that have their weird little rules about resumes so they can reject them easily without any work or thought on their end.

It seems like that wouldn't be a great manager to work for.

@Baconbits And this is why my gaming PC now runs Linux.

Oddly, I also have to pick a distro to replace Fedora for similar reasons.

@malwaretech Uh, no, that's not the only way they have to check if you're an American. Especially if you're talking about getting a job.

And what you're suggesting is illegal.

@jerry There was a show 'Are you smarter than a Fifth Grader.'

This isn't new, most students are convinced they will never use anything they learn in school so they make no effort in remembering it.

Of course, there is also the possibility they were making these same mistakes when they were in school.

@Tarkin2258 Poorly written job profiles are a very real thing, to the point you almost have to ignore them.
@log4jmc Yes I am aware of that and you should look closer at the origins of the term that you kindly provided here which are not racial, and notice that none of the examples given are either. The association with race is very recent and coincides with the rise of slactivism, of which this is a very good example of. Do nothing that would put you out but demand all the kudos as if you had.
@log4jmc How is blacklist problematic? Not everything that has the word black in it has a racial meaning or origin.
@Tarkin2258 It is a job of its own. There are also several jobs that aren't pentesting/red teaming that you would benefit from knowing the basics of how exploiting a vulnerable system would occur.
