#WritersCoffeeClub 27 Feb - How do you find beta readers? Would you beta read yourself?

I am emailing friends at the moment. I cannot afford to pay beta readers. I would love to know what other writers do.

As to myself doing it, I do not feel I am qualified to offer that level of feedback. So, at the moment, no.

#WritersCoffeeClub 26 Feb - Would you consider recording your own audiobook?

No. My voice sucks. I would get Peter Cullen to do it.

#WritersCoffeeClub 25 Feb - How do you feel about Amazon's influence on books and publishing?

On the one hand, the anarchist in me despises everything that Amazon stands for. Yet, at the back of my mind is that whispering voice: would self-publishing be as viable today without Amazon? I would be interested to hear thoughts about this last question.

#WritersCoffeeClub 24 Feb - Has feedback from readers ever changed the way you write?

Short answer: no. However, from my beta readers (still gathering them), I expect I might. I have also taken on opinions from writers. So, you writers out there have had more influence on me, really.
