The media, at least those that are even bothering to cover it, are truly missing the forest for the trees. The disaster of the bird site is not its garbage performance and functionality “clunkiness.” It’s that it’s a goddamned misinformation fascist propaganda engine. That’s it. That’s the story. I’ve been trying to get journalists to cover it. Guess I have to do it myself.

Those well-written things were edited. Always. I'm editing something right now at an average of 35 edits/page

This is the 4th book by this scholar, well-established and awarded in their field. And this book needed to be edited into one of those wonderfully written things. #academicChatter #AcademicsOfMastodon #amediting #publishing

That good-problem-to-have when you're starting a piece and you have the perfect first-two-measures, but then keep botching what follows -- not by writing anything bad per se, but rather, stuff that's happening too soon.
