So... I'm currently working on an app I'm calling "speakEZ". It's a personal, kinda-discord replacement.
- invite-only chat
- built on Cloudflare Workers (free tier), KV, and Durable Objects
- async ed25519 passphrase auth (phrase never stored or seen outside of your brain)
- No accounts, no database
- WebSockets, markdown, image uploads
- WebRTC p2p voice channels
- tdd unit/e2e

On NOT having an opinion is an opinion:
I refuse to perform certainty I don't have about things I can't affect.
But I still enjoy getting inspired by other versions of D&D. Like Shadowdark, Legend in the Mist, etc.
So I had a look at Nimble 5e for fun. And holy crap does it deliver the tactical heroic fantasy experience better than the current D&D.
WotC should have made this, like Shadowrun has the simpler Anarchy version, because they could still sell existing worlds and adventures. Glad they didn’t, and that the Kickstarter success means that all the content will be free for folks who want it.
