@molotovcockatiel Perhaps trying to cover both options. One version that more closely matches what is known historically and keeping to what is plausible to allow for historical insight and study of the battle and then a 2nd version that creates a more balanced, albeit less historical, game scenario.
@sixohsix Well, I haven’t deleted it from my PC as yet. The idea that there is much of the game outside the main story line still unexplored sounds interesting, but my video gaming time is so limited and there are just too many games that catch my fancy. Death Stranding didn’t grab me but I wonder if I didn’t give it a real chance, is just one example.
@sixohsix I did finish it and while I enjoyed the experience I can’t say I ever had the thought “OK, let’s do this again.” Maybe it’s just me as I typically just move on after finishing a game to something new. Once I’ve completed it, it’s done, and time to move on and experience something else.
@nauss@nauss@Pete I’m also a Montreal wargamer, purely a solo one, and do not Facebook. I look forward to seeing any pictures of your gaming activities that you may post.
@sixohsix Can’t comment on the privacy angle 😉 I didn’t know their offerings were geo-located, but I guess it makes sense. The features of the paid Plex Pass are admittedly limited, but since I use it so much, I felt the lifetime pass was reasonable enough to support the company’s effort with my hard earned cash. However, value is always in the hands of the payer.
@sixohsix It’s a great piece of software. Very nice when used through Apple TV. While it’s essentially free, the reasonable one time lifetime fee does provide access to a lot of older 2nd tier content, movies and TV.
M - ISO Auto. You set aperture and speed and the demon reads light and sets ISO for proper exposure. You can typically pre-set the lower and upper range for ISO.
@gruber From Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Apple Maps shows 2 different names depending whether MacOS or iOS for iPad. MacOS 15.3.1 and iOS 18.3.1 on iPhone 13 Pro show Gulf of Mexico. However iOS 18.3.1 on iPad Pro shows Gulf of America.
