@dosnostalgic Oh, ๐Ÿ˜ฎ like the others, I only knew about Blockout, which is from 1989.

I had no luck trying to find info about these 2 games connection, but while I looked I found 2 interesting things, apparently BadiSoft also made a Pentris game already in 1990 and that there's an authorized open source version of BlockOut ("BlockOut II").

@[email protected] @[email protected] Of course, the funding argument is very valid, that's exactly why I said "if the concern is tracking/ads". About using MS products directly, I think the difference is obvious.

Regarding prices, I think it's also important to point out that if you have a good salary in e.g. dollars or euros, the 10 usd for their unlimited search might be very cheap, but in other parts of the world, where the wages are lower and the currency weak, it might be a considerable investment.

@[email protected] @[email protected] If the concern is tracking/ads, DDG is already enough, it doesn't share user info with Bing even though it uses it for the search, that's the whole point of it.

@whoosh

I'm watching Soundtrack #2 (so far not liking the characters much, at least the production is still pretty nice), and finished kinda recently Extraordinary Attorney Woo and Angels Fall Sometimes (c-drama, very unique and incredibly sad theme, with which it dealt in a nice and responsible way)

I'm super slow, if I'm not liking the show I won't rush, and if I am, I'll also take my time to enjoy more the company of those characters ๐Ÿ˜†Only when there's mystery I get curious and go faster๐Ÿ˜†

As a final summary, from the previous ones I saw, this was the most entertaining to watch I think (not just because of the result ๐Ÿ˜„ )

Many legends of the game took part and played super well, which is what we want to see

And I think the shot clock actually helped, I remember a few years ago a match had to be resumed later even though it's such a short race, it was a bit sad to see. This prevents these things and don't hinder the game much, but perhaps adding an extension per frame would be nice

Seeing how high the level was in this #snooker world seniors, I feel the age requirement could very well be 50+ now tbh, it's a bit weird to see e.g. Jimmy always playing people almost 20 yrs younger than him

But I imagine that it would be impossible considering the overall seniors tour, I guess it's just the world championship that can get all those strong seniors together (and the 40+ people need playing opportunities ofc)

Any opinions on this? I always wonder about it

He really did it, Igor Figueiredo is the #snooker world seniors champion! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ ๐ŸŽ‰ ๐ŸŽ‰ ๐Ÿฅณ What an achievement for Brazil's snooker!

At the same time, feel sorry for Ken, I really hope he'll win it eventually and complete his collection of world titles.

Great pleasure to watch Drago play, I'm a relatively new snooker fan, didn't get to watch his prime years, but he's still super entertaining.

Igor has been playing very well lately (imho he's good enough to be on the pro tour), so no surprise to see him getting a couple centuries. But still, kinda surreal to see a Brazilian going so far, really proud of him! ๐Ÿ˜€

I'm hoping Ken will be the other finalist, let's see.

@SnookerPRO Really hope so too... ๐Ÿ˜ข ๐Ÿ˜ข He mentioned dealing with issues in the interview right after the match, but I had no idea it was this serious.
@SnookerPRO I wonder if it's even possible to have one without the other. ๐Ÿ˜ I guess it's part of the package of every exciting player hehe
