While Zhaotou-class cutters have two AA guns VN's WHECs have a Phalanx CIWS used for both AA and close combat that will totally ruin one's day. Also the WHECs have 6 M2HB.50 cal..
I've been on one of VN WHECs, the USCGC Morgenthau as a MK and can say with confidence while old the WHEC is still a formidable ship.
