@overcastfm When using one tap play, I’d love it if the Info button stayed on the episode list item, instead of the expand arrow button.
All the buttons you get from expanding are there in the Info, so it’s the same number of taps to access those actions. But today it’s two taps to go to info with one tap play.
And with swipe to delete and mark as listened, the most common reason to expand is to get to the info button.
I'll be looking for 1-2 day/wk contracting work soon. If you have a product that needs design or engineering, let me know. (If you don't, boosts appreciated)
Here's a write-up of the redesign I did last year for futureland.tv (https://pketh.org/redesigning-an-app.html)
The carbon footprint of NFTs on Ethereum wasn’t looking great before The Merge, but it was nothing compared to on-chain Bitcoin NFTs
Yesterday Bitcoin mining company Luxor mined the largest block ever, containing almost exactly 4MB of data. Only 63 transactions could fit into the block, as the NFT used up the rest of the available space
The carbon footprint: ~888 metric tons of CO2, equivalent to the per passenger carbon footprint of taking a flight from New York to Tokyo and back - 466 times

Huh.
Consumer Reports (CR) has released a mobile app (iOS, Android on the way) that shows what data companies collect about you, then allows you to have CR get the data deleted:
https://www.permissionslipcr.com
Essentially, CR will act as the data ombudsman for anyone who asks them to. I love it.
CR is a non-profit that accepts no advertising or corporate sponsorship, and they have a great reputation. It's a superb choice to take on the data capitalists.
US-only (don't @ me).
One of the best looking games I’ve ever seen also sounds like it’s gonna be good. Season.
