My first computer was a C128, and everything has been downhill since.

Interested in retro and modern retro projects.

I know how to code.

What does the Fediverse think of my PS5?

I just happen to like the colors:) Most of the colors are good really. Could imagine having some of the others in the future.

A few years in now and I’ve really taken to the design. I think it looks good.

Anyone else peel them like this?

Project Retro Table is a mess, like all my projects.

But the #IIGS works, has the 8MB expansion card, and I have no clue on how to use these computers. :/

The biggest issue is that I need a floppy emulator, and probably some form of mass storage. I’m thinking that the ReActiveMicro Drive/Turbo is a front runner, but no idea about floppy yet. I have a real 3.5”, which is neat though.

Also the space bar seems to be missing a spring. It’s wonky as heck.

There it is. My first ever computer. A #Commodore #C128 with a Swedish keyboard. The keys look a little sad. Haven’t fired it up yet, so I do not know if it’s in working condition. But the A500 and A1200 survived so hopefully it will chug along when I hook it up.

Dear #retrocomputer aficionados. How do you store your 3.5” disks? And 5.25” for that matter. I know it’s nice and old school to use the old, Ehm, things. But I am running out of space! Badly! There’s a few more hiding out as well:(

(The thing on the left is the Frankenmiga btw.)

It’s back together. It is insanely much more nerve wracking doing even the tiniest thing to a computer I care about than any of my many others.

Sadly don’t have any time to test anything:( Will be a future endeavor.

I am doing something to my #Amiga 1200, and I can’t help but feel that I am somewhat crazy to muck about. I’m out of practice. Need to tinker more:)

And boy do I hate how cables can go either way. So irritating!

So #retrocomputer table is now in place, and I can start putting computers up.

Plan 1 is the #IIGS, then the G4 PowerMacs (on the floor), then a space for C64/C128, and last the Franken-miga and the A1200.

More photos will happen as things gets organized.

Game on?

Rearranging things to get the table to fit.

Extra fancy mass storage!
