@TeqFu @rvaughnmd @nixCraft I am happily using my KDE Plasma edition Fedora 43 right now. It is much more stable than the POP!_OS. And feels smooth. Linux really makes your hardware serve you instead of bloatware and ad companies.
I want to use a new client for Spotify. Can you recommend some? For Android please
After being let go from Microsoft, Clippy fell on hard times
@garywetzel for sure
You know what I noticed? Once people started using AI widely, they stopped asking question like: As a musician, I no longer hear comments like, “I think you should make music about this too.” This actually made me happy. Because people no longer have to learn guitar to listen to what they want. Since you can listen to music you want by typing a few words, they now listen to others attentively. Of course, this applies to music enthusiasts. Regular people still keep listening to the same music.
@rvaughnmd @nixCraft yeah. But I abandoned my distro after two three days. Now I use fedora. And I am absolutely shocked how convenient it is after you get used to it
@rvaughnmd @nixCraft I started with POP!_OS🥹
@garywetzel I am new to these things. And my first complete GitHub repository is a script for WeeChat. It is a tts reader. Don't think that it needs a review. Replied to know you. Maybe in the future we will help each other out. You can think of it as an icebreaker. I am new to Mastodon. Still trying to find some valuable people here to make a little community for myself.
@rvaughnmd @nixCraft what are you talking about? Finding the right distro is a headache alone. For a windows user there is a learning curve. But after that yeah you feel like you regained your hardware again.
@nixCraft I moved recently. And now I don't have Instagram, windows, or Facebook in my life. Instead I have Linux, IRC, Mastodon and etc. linux comes with a lifestyle. And with tons of headaches to be honest. But still worth giving it a shot.
