@MarcelineLeiman @scottnicholson @gpage oh wow, I didn’t realize you could take notes on users. That’s a feature I wanted on the bird app for ages. Hmm looks like it’s not accessible from the Metatext app though, bummer.
@caraplayingstuff oh yeah, they’re both excellent. Like, I went into both hearing they were great games, and yet they still exceeded expectations. My wife, who is more of a casual gamer, loves both of them too. I think The Crew might be her favorite game.
@host @Territan @lostapiarist It looks like it's currently not supported. Thanks for helping to look into it!
@oz It looks like it's not directly supported. I don't post threads like that very often, but when I do it's nice to get it all out at once so that folks can read everything before jumping in with replies. I'm very slow at composing text!
@oz Yeah, this is what I’m talking about. Metatext lets you post a thread with multiple toots, but the privacy setting applies to the whole thread. Can’t configure the first toot separately.
@host @Territan @lostapiarist I do know how to change privacy in a reply to an existing thread, but I do not know how to post a new thread where only the first toot is public and the rest are unlisted.
@host @Territan @lostapiarist (please lmk if I just missed something obvious, because it would definitely help to have easy access to that bit of etiquette)
@host @Territan @lostapiarist I use Metatext, and when I tried to test this out, it seemed that the same privacy applied to every toot in the chain. Unless I missed an option, it seemed like the only way to do it is to make the first post separately from the rest of the thread.
@caraplayingstuff (Tournament at Avalon is basically Cosmic Encounter, but it's Arthurian legends playing Hearts)

@caraplayingstuff They're not my all-time favorites, but my favorite recent acquisitions are:

1. Targi
2. Flamecraft
3. Critters at War
4. The Crew
5. Tournament at Avalon

Honorable mention to Cosmic Encounter, which I've owned for a few years but only played for the first time recently.
