Ha! Yesterday at work I suggested a hum in a subwoofer might be caused by different components being powered by different legs of the electric service. Boss seemed to file it under "one of many possibilities." In the evening he texted me: "My online people responded with this idea about the hum. Seems valid to me. You were on track with the alternate outlet." Included this screenshot. Today we confirmed it, and the electrician changed one of the circuits to be on the same leg as the other one. Takeaways: 1) I love being right. 2) PEOPLE SHOULD BELIEVE ME.

This is my homemade sign from yesterday's #HandsOff protest in #Boston. It was really encouraging to see so many people. I actually felt some hope for the first time in a long time!
