Despite my better judgement I’ve went in for a No 750 fiesta run, with the Sirocco flavour. My first job is Knight which will mean a pretty breezy start and some great single target damage and tanking late in the run. Wish me luck!
Looking back at run number one of this year’s fiesta, I think rods carried me a little too much. If I do another run I think I might try a No 750 run to force me to think a little further outside the box. Anybody done one of those before? Also tempted to mix up the crystal order options a bit too, we’ll see.
Here’s the winning team. Managed it at level 38/39. Incidentally, the same party my friend had for his first fiesta last year. Geomancer wasn’t as bad as I thought, and Time Mage remains one of my all time fav jobs for the fiesta.
Last night I finally beat the Chapter 3 Roaring Knight fight after three days of attempts!!
Wow, that has to be one of the most difficult bosses between both games. I think it’s on the same playing field as Sans (and I wasn’t expecting to say that this early in the game). It felt so good to get through it, but I do still have some major problems with it. There are some attacks that can just screw your run at complete random, and some very dodgy hitboxes as well. It’s possible, but damn hard. I’ll say the final attack is brilliantly made, just hard enough to spook you/make you choke.
I’m excited to see what they do with the Knight’s character in the future, and whether or not we fight them again. At any rate, I’ve started Chapter 4 now, and it’s already a doozy.
