@oli @punissuer you made a little mistake when you wrote “fascism-adjacent” instead of “fascist”
@Yehuda as an outsider (hi from austria!), it really bothers me that i almost exclusively heard about the two clearly white folks on the list. i am paying the wrong kind of attention, it seems.

i agree with @beep here. this is how i have been talking genai specifically, and "ai" in general, and it is comforting to know that not only i have arrived at this conclusion. "ai" is a failed technology and we should talk about it as such. it only works as intended as a means to scare people into accepting lower compensation for their time and work.

“Artificial intelligence” is a failed technology. It’s time we described it that way.

@defuneste @tante @climbertobby Honestly, no. The argument is framed in such a way that it's really hard for me to argue against, because I 100% fit the definition of the knowledge worker that would have an interest in maintaining that boundary. Especially since I think that shaming people for using GenAI is a great idea. 🧐
@ErikUden This article could have been one word.

@tagesschau @[email protected] wer hätte das gedacht‽

(Jede:r. Einfach alle. Wirklich jede:r.)

@tante Using "upskilling" unironically is such a massive red flag.

Sometimes, the stuff that @pluralistic writes makes me angry. Not at him, mind you. I know where to direct my pitchfork and torch.

@sanity @feliks "Ambiguity is a bad thing when one's future depends on it." is a quote with way too much relevance right now.
