New account, so it's time for #Introductions.

Hi, I'm the proprietress of Evergreen Sewing, a woman-owned benefit LLC based in Milwaukie, OR and serving the #PDX area!

Evergreen does #sewing machine repair and resale. The company is dedicated to empowering creators, reducing waste, and promoting #SlowFashion.

We're easing into business with a soft launch in January 2026, and expecting the hard launch the next month.

Happy to be here!

Dick Van Dyke recently turned 100 years old and is no longer permitted to play with LEGOs.
What a shot. Seems to be real, and seems to not be a composite.
https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap251216.html "Explanation: What’s happening over that tree? Two very different things. On the left is the Andromeda galaxy, an object that is older than humanity and will last billions of years into the future. Andromeda (M31) is similar in size and shape to our own Milky Way Galaxy. On the right is a red sprite, a type of lightning that lasts a fraction of a second and occurs above violent thunderstorms. Red sprites were verified as real atmospheric phenomena only about 35 years ago. The tree in the center is a boab, which may live for as long as a thousand years. Boab trees grow naturally in Australia and Africa and are known for being able to store large amounts of water: up to 100,000 liters. The featured image was captured last month near Derby in Western Australia."
@glassbottommeg @eniko tl;dr crudely made on my phone, you can see it’s still on trend or better

@glassbottommeg @eniko if you think of 2024 like 2018 as outlier years, then the trend is fine. For each category and the totals. Those years are unexpectedly high and make the year immediately after it look bad.

If you instead compare each year to the one two before it (as an approximate moving average to remove outliers) then 2025 actually looks to be a better performing year than average.

OUT NOW: Dungeon Puzzle Sweeper!

The perfect game to play at the airport or under the dinner table this holiday season πŸŽ„ It auto-saves, is optimized for mobile, and has online leaderboards!

This little remake has been kicking around all year and I wanted to finish up the rest of the presentation and get it out there. Free on itch!!

@eniko @Njord all your other neighbor annoyances were actually them being top 10 betrayed by their partners
@eniko I was going to say β€œbest feature yet”, but I didn’t want to diminish what you’ve done, which is also awesome
