As always, I was searching for a long time and a minute after I ask the question I finally find it. I suspected it might be done with <reference>, but when googling for "JSDoc reference" I only found the JSDoc reference and on that page there is no mention of "<reference".
@standupmaths You wanted your viewers to share settings for fun Julia sets, but it's not possible to do that in YouTube comments, since it gets auto-deleted. Instead I'll do it here and as links to a fractal viewer I wrote myself two years ago. The links contain more parameters than just C, but also the color palette, threshold, iterations, zoom, and pan coordinates. 😄
