@caseyliss just to echo @marcoarment and @siracusa, strongly recommend NOT putting a “one-time purchase” option in the app. Very few people will use it and the ones that do tend to generate the bulk of support requests and complaints.
Also, consider adding a “I ❤️ Indie Development” subscription option for those who want to give more to show their support. It’ll help make up for any lost revenue for people who don’t want to pay for apps.
I’d happily pay double the subscription to support you.
This is your periodic reminder to set up (or update) the Medical ID on your iPhone. I thought about it after my car accident last month and was surprised that it was pretty out of date.
(And tell your family. My parents had no idea it was a thing!)
Medical ID helps first responders access your critical medical information from the Lock screen, without needing your passcode. They can see information like allergies and medical conditions as well as who to contact in case of an emergency.
@codinghorror I love $2 bills! I always keep a few in my wallet and occasionally use them for stuff like adding it on top of the rest of the tip of a really good restaurant server. People feel special when they get one.
Pro tip: Ted’s Montana Grill gives change in $2 bills and 1$ coins.
@caseyliss this is a tough one since in this case “show” has two different meanings—TV Show or visibility. My initial thought was to rearrange it to be more semantic top to bottom. “Show Details” panel with visibility toggles for the options, “Episode Cast Count” with value of “hidden” or “shown.”
It would be interpreted by a screen reader to the effect: “Show details, episode cast count: hidden”
I also prefer using show vs hide because then you don’t have to invert the visibility values
