I broke two #Makita T15 driver tips from the pictured set. I usually avoid the driver tips included in boxes of screws, but in this case it worked better than the Makita equivalents. Perhaps that's why the set was half off when I bought it some time ago.

The best part of hanging wall cabinets in my office is getting to use my laser level. A close second is having a buddy over to help.

A screenshot of what was on my iPad screen and what was on my wife’s this morning as we each did our morning browse. It sums things up pretty well.

If there is any question, hers is the red-flanked bluetail.

Xfinity has an outage on their outage map. How ironic.

Seriously though, we had a lot of downed trees during recent storms. Thanks to the workers from Xfinity and PG&E who have been working hard to get things cleaned up.

I can hear the chainsaws form where I'm sitting.

Very interesting article on #quantum entanglement between two different types of particle. I find Ethan Siegel’s writing very accessible for a non-physicist like me without being overtly dumbed-down. He can be found @[email protected]

Quantum entanglement just got a whole lot weirder

It isn't just identical particles that can be entangled, but even those with fundamentally different properties interfere with each other.

The #Flipboard app chooses an unfortunate and unnecessary abbreviation on the link that takes you back to the “For You” section. Or maybe it’s just doesn’t like me. See the upper left corner of the attached screenshot. #AngryApp

This #DataScience cheat sheet by Aaron Wang, is really quite nice. It, along with several others, can be found over at the kdnuggets web site: https://www.kdnuggets.com/2021/03/more-data-science-cheatsheets.html

Nice job Aaron! [Don't know whether he is on mastodon]

This is quite a good overview of Bell’s theorem and how each of the 2022 Physics Nobel winners contributed to testing it.

There are really good interactive elements to illustrate the key ideas.

Thanks @freelanceastro

I also asked #ChatGPT how @harrymccracken might speak about a TRS-80. Pretty good, but it forgot to give a link to his TRS-80: https://harrymccracken.com/trs80/
