Video of my inexpensive laser cut mirror mount. The mirror is a first surface acrylic mirror that I can also laser cut to shape!
Recent experiments with building optomechanical bits and bobs using laser cut acrylic and common hardware.
Steering mirror uses m3 screws with ball bearings on the tip for smooth precise motion. Kinematic coupling uses three ball bearings and three slots to exactly constrain the relative position of two plates.
