Had an open day, so today, instead of writing a to-do list, I wrote down every task as I was either about to do it, or just after I completed it. Friends, it was so much more satisfying! Have I been doing this all wrong for my Rachel brain 30+ years?
Central California rains have raised my local water source, Lopez Lake Reservoir, 65 ft in the past 3 months to reach 100% capacity! Last time this happened was 1998, I'm told. Whee!!!

I mean, at least he knew what he was getting into because I clearly haven’t changed.
Realized tonight I've gone from "that's where I wanna run out my days; someplace warm with no memory" level in 2016 to "get busy living or get busy dying" level of #shawshankredemption. Friends, I'm getting busy living. Feels good.
It's been at least a year since I attempted to organize and clean my second bedroom, aka "The Room of Doom". I'm on day 2 and have just sorted all the random tools and hardware - screws, hooks, etc. I would like a trophy.
