Itâs interesting because itâs probably one of the rare occasions where the film is more detailed than the book as itâs only a short story. Glad Iâve read it now though.
Iâll probably read the other stories in the Different Seasons book at some point as well. Especially The Body which is the source material for the film Stand By Me.
Iâm definitely going to have to rewatch the Shawshank Redemption film soon though! đ
It was half my life ago since I last read a book, but here I am, reading the story of which one of my favourite films is based on. I canât help but visualise Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins as I read it. đ
