Why do so many sequels 𝘫𝘢𝘴𝘡 𝘯𝘰𝘡 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬?
Of course, there are exceptions.

I’m watching the latest entry in π˜›π˜©π˜¦ 𝘌𝘹𝘰𝘳𝘀π˜ͺ𝘴𝘡 movies, β€œπ˜›π˜©π˜¦ 𝘌𝘹𝘰𝘳𝘀π˜ͺ𝘴𝘡: π˜‰π˜¦π˜­π˜ͺ𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳,” and it just doesn’t work.

Is it directing? Writing? Something else?

I love this piece and envy WaPo books editor John Williams a bit for it. He hung out with Stephen King and went through the maestro's bookshelves.

King never gets rid of stuff he reads... appropriate.
