I have a lovely Italian leather weekend bag that I got a decade ago and it has served me well. I also live in an apartment that has a tendency for damp, so when I retrieved it recently it was *covered* in mould.

I had taken care of it and repaired it as it needed. I want it to serve me many decades more. I'm therefore looking for suggestions.

Leather: how do you keep it from moulding in less than ideal conditions? Are there products or storage techniques you recommend?
