In places with lots of cars - e.g. at busy roads and intersections - the sounds overlap to form random ambient music.
Frequencies and rhythms can be tuned according to cultural preferences. While Europeans are stuck with full / half tone intervals and 4/4 beats, others places get more interesting stuff.
Eventually, Dakar or Kinshasa will sound AMAZING!
